the power of ritual
Ritual has been part of humanity since the beginning of times, however, colonization, and the stress and responsibilities of modern life, have led most of us to disconnect from this essential part of our being.
The impact of that rupture is tremendous and includes a lost sense of belonging, feeling disconnected from our life’s purpose, deeply unfulfilled, disembodied and exiled from those who matter the most.
THE SACRED REMEMBRANCE RITUAL IS A GATHERING OPPORTUNITY FOR US TO BUILD OUR PATH BACK TO THAT WHICH SPEAKS TO OUR SOULS:
The whispering wisdom that is always trying to call our attention, to remind us of our sacredness, but we’re too busy and too loud to listen to it.
The embodied awareness that we belong to this world, to this life and to the land we live in.
The deep, somatic knowing that we are never alone. That Nature, Spirit, and our well and wise Ancestors are always looking after us, and willing to offer comfort, guidance and a love that is greater than we’ll ever know.
To engage our physical and energetic bodies in the journey back to our natural and liberated ways of being. Allowing Eros’ medicine to guide us to those parts of us that are truly joyful, wise, confident and liberated.

Ix Cacao, the Mayan Goddess of Cacao
Cacao is a sacred plant that has been used by the Mayans for millennia to create healing, wellbeing, and support in the community, including in conflict resolution.
Gendered as feminine in the Mayan tradition, she is a gentle guide, teacher, and healer of mind, body and spirit.
The qualities of this rich plant include:
- contains theobromine, which has a vasodilating effect and helps us increase blood flow throughout the body
- regulates dopamine and serotonin, the neurotransmitters we associate with happy emotional states
- contains amino acids and fats that improve blood flow and relax the muscles
- contains entheogens, which are psychoactive substances often derived from plants, that can induce temporary shifts in perspective, mood, or perceptions and are often utilized for spiritual purposes. (Note that cacao is not hallucinogenic.)
For ritual purposes, the high-quality pure Cacao, minimally processed, intentionally sourced and delivered, can open our hearts and guide us back into connection with ourselves, nature and the divine, as well as our communities.
She is a gentle, kind and loving teacher, who guides us back to the center of our hearts; reminding us of the gifts we already have, and providing the healing and liberation our souls are ready to experience.
We invite Ix Cacao into our ritual to open our hearts and help facilitate our spiritual work. Her presence will gently move more Chi, life force energy, to our heart center, promoting a deeper opening of mind, body and emotions – the perfect setting for deep spiritual connection.
The Taoist Jade Egg
For most people I know, connecting sexuality practices with the path of spiritual awakening is a foreign concept. But if we look at the ways patriarchy, Christian-Judeo religions and colonization have intentionally and systematically fragmented and erased the old ways of living in close connection to Goddess, to Earth, to the power of female sexuality in providing abundance, protection and guidance to communities, we can start to understand why we forgot it.
We forgot that our body and sexuality are divine aspects of our beings.
Now, when we look back at ancient traditions, we’ll find that many cultures around the globe were well aware that our bodies, including our genitals and erogenous zones, are the perfect vessel to achieve a closer connection with Spirit and the Divine.
Devotees of Ancient Taoist, Tantric and so many other Shamanic lineages from all corners of the world have embraced the erotic as a lifelong path of healing, liberation of mind-body-spirit, and cosmic expansion.
In this context, the Tao, where the Jade Egg practices come from, teaches us: enhance the Chi, or life force, and bring sexual energy inward and upward, where it can be transformed into higher energy, into spiritual connection.
The Jade Egg is an ancient and sacred tool for physical and spiritual transformation, which helps us feel more connected to the higher forces of the Universe. The practice is also a way to maintain overall health and vitality, have more sexual pleasure, surrender to better orgasms and enjoy more satisfying sex. And this is a deeply spiritual process, which most of us have forgotten.
Alchemizing the energies of these two beautiful Spiritual Teachers, with the activation of our Yang heart center and our Yin sexual center, will guide us back to our Sacred Remembrance: that our original essence is Divine, loving, free, empowered, joyful, sensual and alive.

In order to incorporate Cacao into my work with integrity, I’ve studied with the Mayan Indigenous Teachers from “The Mayan Wisdom Project” in Guatemala: Tata Mario, Jessica Vasquez, Jerico Gutierrez, Delmy Coronaro, Tata Miguel, Tata Juan, Cecilia and Solveig.

Frequently Asked Questions
You’re totally new to the Jade Egg
If you are new to jade egg practices, I recommend giving yourself 1-2 weeks before the Ritual to buy your egg and engage in the pre-recorded short practice to familiarize yourself with the jade egg and to feel more comfortable during the ritual.
You might also choose to practice without the egg this first time, so you slowly build your connection with the lineage and practice.
privacy
This ritual is an invitation to the Sacred, and as such it’s important that you have privacy when joining the call.
It’s also so important to be mindful and respectful of the Spirit Teachers we are calling in, so I kindly ask you not to join the call while driving or at work.
Please make sure that you don’t have other people in the same room as you, so you can drop deeply into ritual space and sensual connection with your body.
Nudity
The Jade Egg practice includes self-pleasuring and touching your body in sensual ways.
For the egg practice, you’ll keep your video and audio off, so you can have all the privacy you need to drop in really deeply in this part of the ritual.
Can I practice without an egg?
If you have any condition that prevents you from using the physical egg, you can still join us and practice with an energetic egg, which is a beautiful way to deeply connect with your body, too.
practicing with other kinds of eggs
You can also practice with a crystal egg made of borosilicate glass, which is the safest material for your body.
I don’t recommend eggs made of quartz because they are very porous and can hold on to bacteria.
Jade, Obsidian and Borosilicate Glass are the safest choices for you.
Where do I buy an egg and the ceremonial cacao?
Once you sign up for the Ritual you’ll receive all the instructions you need in order to buy your material and prepare for the call.
You can also adapt for your needs, so it’s fine to join us without Cacao and without an Egg. What truly matters, is the intention in your heart and your devoted presence to Ritual.
I'm pregnant, can I still drink cacao and practice with an egg?
Pregnant people can drink cacao, however your dosage needs to be lower. You’ll be guided into the correct amount of cacao to drink in the pre-recorded material.
You should NOT insert the physical egg for practices while pregnant, but you can still practice with an imaginary egg.
What's your refund policy?
Due to the nature of the Online Ritual, once you sign up there are no refunds.
Even if you can’t join us live, you’ll still have access to the recording for 30 days.
Will this Jade Egg practice help me heal vaginismus or vulvodynia?
No, this is not the focus of the practices in my Rituals.
As a matter of fact, I believe that forcing an egg into your vagina when there’s pain and contraction will have the opposite effect to the one that is desired.
People dealing with vaginismus and vulvodynia need individual support to heal in a holistic and somatic way.
I recommend you work with a somatic pelvic care specialist, ideally with a Somatic Experiencing background.
You can also choose to practice without the physical egg, using an energetic egg. This will give you the chance to slowly reconnect with your vulva and vagina in a sacred, loving and nourishing way, which can help you slowly release some of the stored tension and stagnatnt energy in that area.
Will this Jade Egg practice help me heal prolapse?
This is not the focus of the practices in my Rituals, however your body might benefit from the practice anyway – it really depends on the severity of the prolapse.
If it’s mild and you are able to have penetrative sex, or play with dildos and vibrators, then you are more than welcome to practice.
But if your prolapse is too severe, you’d need to consult with a pelvic care specialist to get specialized guidance on how to best approach the practices.
You can also choose to practice without the physical egg, using an energetic egg. This will give you the chance to slowly strengthen your pubococcygeus muscle, while activating and moving your Jing Chi upwards.
